Sadly Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Has Been Delayed Again Due to COVID

The conclusion to my favorite anime series of all time has sadly been pushed out to an undetermined time due to the recent rise of COVID in Japan and in general all over the world.

What started out as a retelling of the classic Neon Genesis Evangelion (but this time with budget) has turned into an epic 14 year journey. The first of 4 movies, Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone, debuted in Japan Sept 1st 2007. The 4 movies were supposed to release every 2 to 3 years but due to the success of the movies, Hideaki Anno got busy and went on to work on other anime and movies like Shin Godzilla. The final film in the series, Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time, was supposed to debut this January but has been pushed back to an undetermined time. In the mean time check out the latest trailer and some amazing Eva figurines.
